We are hosting our virtual conference through the online platform called Whova. You can learn more about the Whova virtual event hosting platform.
Click here to access the HSABC Virtual Conference on Whova. You will be asked to create an account. Once you are on the event page, please click on Sign up here where you will need to fill in your e-mail (Please make sure to use the same email address you used when registering the event. Otherwise it won’t allow you to join the event) and create a password).

Which format should I use to attend (Web App or Mobile App)?
The web app will provide the best experience of watching our session streaming on a large screen of your computer. You will also have the flexibility to ask questions, chat with other participants and access the community board.
The mobile app will have extra social features that make it easy to interact with other attendees, personalized profiles, direct messaging, accessing to other participants' bio and other networking opportunities.
For the best experience, we recommend using both apps: attending the sessions through the web app and engage in networking features via the mobile app. However, no matter which option you will choose, all the conference events can be accessed on the web app and the mobile app.
When will I receive instructions for attending the event?
Two-days prior to the conference launch, you will receive a separate e-mail from us with a link to the event. The link will direct you to the sign-up page where you will need to fill in your e-mail (please use the same e-mail address that the event link was sent to) and create a password. You will be automatically taken to the conference event page.
Do I need to download or install Whova to be able to attend this event?
The Whova web app does not need to be installed. You may access it in a web browser. If you are having trouble accessing the web app, please try using a different browser. The Whova mobile app is an additional access point and may optionally be downloaded via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
How do I ask a question or make a comment during a live session?
During a live session, there will be three tabs on the right-hand side of the screen: Session Q&A, Chat, and Community. You can ask questions in the Session Q&A tab and make comments in the Chat tab.
Will there be networking?
The conference platform facilitates excellent networking opportunities on both the website and mobile app versions. You can network through an active community board, session chat, and even private chat with individual attendees. For the best networking experience, we encourage to use the mobile app.
Can I still watch sessions after the event has concluded?
We are giving participants exclusive access to all the workshop recordings for 6-months after the conference.
